After breakfast, leave Fez and begin your journey south toward the Sahara Desert. Your first stop is Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Morocco" due to its European-style architecture and alpine atmosphere. Continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can see playful Barbary macaques.

As you cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, admire the changing landscapes of lush valleys and rocky plateaus. Stop for lunch in Midelt, a town famous for its mineral-rich mountains. In the afternoon, descend into the vast expanse of the Sahara, passing through the Ziz Valley, known for its endless palm groves and fortified villages.

Arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to Erg Chebbi dunes, switch to camels for an unforgettable trek into the desert. As the sun sets over the golden dunes, arrive at a traditional Berber camp, where a warm meal, traditional music, and a star-filled sky await. Overnight in a cozy desert tent.

Wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel and set off towards Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with towering 300-meter-high rock walls. Take a walk along the river, surrounded by lush palm groves and traditional Berber villages.

Continue through the stunning Dades Valley, following the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, where ancient fortified villages dot the landscape. Stop at scenic viewpoints along the way, capturing the beauty of the rugged mountains and red-rock canyons.

Arrive in Ouarzazate, Morocco’s “Hollywood,” where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. Visit the Taourirt Kasbah, a beautifully preserved fortress showcasing traditional Moroccan architecture. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a charming riad.

After breakfast, visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an iconic filming location. Wander through its ancient mud-brick alleys and climb to the top for breathtaking views of the surrounding valley.

Continue your journey through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters above sea level. This scenic route offers stunning landscapes, from lush valleys to rugged peaks. Along the way, stop at a local argan oil cooperative to learn about the production of Morocco’s prized beauty product.

In the afternoon, arrive in Marrakech, a city buzzing with energy, history, and culture. Enjoy an evening exploring Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where street performers, food stalls, and traditional musicians create a lively atmosphere. Overnight in a riad.

After breakfast, set off for a day trip to Essaouira, a picturesque coastal town with a relaxed vibe. On the way, stop at an argan oil cooperative, where local women produce the famous oil using traditional methods.
