This 4-day tour offers a deeper experience of Morocco’s diverse landscapes and desert culture. Travel through the Middle Atlas mountains, explore cedar forests, and admire the beauty of the Ziz Valley. Discover the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, ride a camel into the heart of the Sahara, and spend a magical night in a desert camp. Visit the breathtaking Todra Gorges, explore the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, and cross the High Atlas mountains before arriving in Marrakech.
Depart from Fes in the morning and journey through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing through Ifrane and Azrou, where you can spot Barbary monkeys. Travel through the picturesque Ziz Valley and arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Spend the night in a charming desert auberge at the edge of the dunes.
Enjoy a free morning to explore Merzouga or take an optional 4x4 desert safari. In the late afternoon, embark on a camel trek into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Admire the sunset before arriving at your nomadic desert camp, where you'll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars, with live Berber music.
Wake up early for a spectacular desert sunrise before returning to Merzouga. After breakfast, drive towards Todra Gorge, where you'll have time to explore the impressive canyon. Continue your journey through the scenic Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations and lush landscapes. Spend the night in a comfortable hotel in the valley.
After breakfast, travel along the famous Route of 1,000 Kasbahs, passing through Ouarzazate. Visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-listed site and a filming location for many Hollywood movies. Then, cross the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying breathtaking views before arriving in Marrakech, where your journey ends.
